Merry Christmas!!!

Today is the perfect time to flood this site with posts.

I expect that a lot of people have gone to their laptops or PC's already, went to blogger.com, logged in, and blogged a message about the Day that Christ was born.

It is Christmas... That time of the year that elicits a multitude of emotions --- from the heart-warming kind to the heart-wrenching variety. As many people as there are celebrating and inundating themselves with cheer, quite the same number, or even more, are presently intoxicating themselves with doses of melancholy.

I will bet that most of those who will post today are of the latter kind.

Well... Let us all pray that I am wrong.

We should, actually, be thankful that we have such an event to celebrate every year. We are afforded a great sense of refreshment. A particularly apt time to thank our God for our Family, our Friends, and our Life...The most opportune time for us to count our blessings, big and small.

Unfortunately enough, not all people see it this way.

Christmas is the day our Savior was born. Symbolic of the fact that new beginnings can actually happen. A reference point for those who find no end to their miseries. A new rope of hope to hold on to.

Forget the New Year and its accompanying resolutions. Today is the time to expend such choice... the choice to be New again.

To these individuals, beleaguered by fate and orphaned by Fortune, I pray for you and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Beginning!!!

Hi. Saw your comment on my blog, and wanted to thank you for the compliment. Yes, I am still a student. Sometimes my mind seems to work overtime, and I just feel I have to put what I'm thinking out there, so it ends up on my blog. Happy Holidays!
